On a far less serious note....

I have seen the face of God, and its name is "Apple And Rhubarb Juice". Remember I told you this when you're casting about for a nice cold drink this summer. It was made from Bramleys, too. I may cry with happiness. Apple and rhubarb, beloved reader, apple and rhubarb. One more time - apple and rhubarb. There may be a pop quiz later on my new favourite drink, so be prepared. Oh - and I heard a really juicy piece of historical gossip about Brian Clough today, but I can't tell you, so ner. It had nothing to do with apple and rhubarb juice though.

Ah but is it a 'juice drink' or real juice?

If it's the real thing, I'm well impressed!

Real juice from pip to peel. Laura I nearly died of joy. May do a bookshop launch where we serve nothing but variations on the theme - although I have also found that with the addition of some brandy and ginger beer it can be rather tasty too...

PS MM - can live without yoghurt, but have done a rather lovely duck with rhubarb in the past... Call me Nigella...

Where does might procure this delicious sounding beverage?

Rol - farmers' market, darling. Although actually I've spotted it in Waitrose before. How can I afford such treats when I'm a bookseller? I can't, I'm overdrawn already. But at least I'm happy..
