I'm veering slowly towards the organic box scheme but have been slightly put off by the fact that people I know who have one are always complaining about getting too many brussels sprouts and sweet potato and not enough interesting random stuff. But I will now do it with a smile on my face and a lightness in my heart.

Coincidentally, I have just cooked squash and cavalo nero risotto (yes, organic box scheme). The children who can talk, unsurprisingly, declared it disgusting. But hubby and the one year old loved it.Helennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1352411146204226127.post-42019223781296857092009-12-30T10:50:56.679+00:002009-12-30T10:50:56.679+00:00Your saucepan full of limp cabbage made me laugh. ...Your saucepan full of limp cabbage made me laugh. Every other month we just collect huge quantities of pork from Headingley Farmers Market and stick it all in the freezer.

Now of course the worry is that we might have one of our mystery power cuts while we're away...mantua makerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08100402931220060133noreply@blogger.com
